Identify what you need before you order
Most filter mix-ups come down to one of three things: measuring the old filter instead of the opening, missing the depth, or guessing at a legacy booth. Here is how to avoid all three.
Measuring guide
How to measure for a replacement filter
- 01
Measure the opening, not the old filter
Media compresses and frames distort with age, so a used filter often measures short. Measure the frame or track the filter sits in.
- 02
Width × length, then depth
Note the depth as well if the filter sits in a frame, track or pocket. Depth is what usually decides between two otherwise identical parts.
- 03
For ceiling media, measure the whole opening
We cut ceiling media to width in sizes up to 81 inches, so give us the full ceiling dimension rather than the size of one panel.
- 04
Photograph any printing on the frame
Part numbers, weights and manufacturer marks are often printed on the frame edge. A clear photo of that is usually enough to identify the part outright.
Still not certain? Email a photo of the filter you are replacing to info@sprayboothfilterco.com, or call 401-365-1510. You can also bring the old filter to our warehouse at 593 Mineral Spring Ave. — call first so someone is expecting you.
Common questions
Frequently asked
Where are you actually located?
593 Mineral Spring Ave., Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Our inventory is held in that building, and orders are delivered or collected from it — not shipped in from another state.
We are a distributor rather than a walk-in store, so call 401-365-1510 or email first and we will have your order ready for pickup. The people who answer that phone are in Rhode Island.
I don't know what filter my booth takes. Can you still help?
Yes — this is most of what we do. Call us with the booth manufacturer and the dimensions of the opening, or email a photo of the filter you are pulling out to info@sprayboothfilterco.com. A photo that shows any printing on the frame is usually enough on its own.
You can also drop the old filter off at our warehouse, 593 Mineral Spring Ave. — call first so someone is expecting you.
How do I measure for a replacement filter?
Measure the opening the filter sits in, not the old filter itself — media compresses and frames distort with age, so a used filter often measures short.
Take the width and the length, and note the depth if the filter sits in a frame or track. For ceiling media, measure the full ceiling opening; we cut media to width in sizes up to 81 inches.
If the numbers do not match a standard size, that is normal, particularly on older equipment. Tell us what you measured and we will tell you what fits.
Are these genuine Paint Pockets® filters?
Yes. We are an authorized Paint Pockets® distributor, so the pads and rolls we supply are the genuine article, not a generic imitation.
This is worth checking wherever you buy. Paint Pockets® is a trademarked name, and filters are widely marketed as “paint pocket” filters or “paint pocket style” media — wording chosen to sound like the real thing. If the seller cannot tell you they are an authorized distributor, assume it is not genuine Paint Pockets® media.
We buy it by the trailer load several times a year and hold it in Pawtucket, so it is on the shelf when you call rather than ordered in. See what we stock or call 401-365-1510.
Can I pick filters up the same day?
If the item is in stock, yes — that is the main reason we hold inventory here rather than drop-shipping it. Call ahead on 401-365-1510 so we can confirm we have your size and have your order ready for pickup.
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Where do you deliver?
Our core delivery area is Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut. We also serve customers in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and parts of northern New York.
Delivery timing depends on where you are and what you have ordered. Call us and we will tell you what is realistic for your address rather than quoting a blanket promise.
My booth is 30 years old and the manufacturer is gone. Can you help?
Almost certainly. We supply filters for modern equipment and for legacy products dating back several decades, and we stock for major booth manufacturers including Rohner, AFC, Blowtherm, Global Finishing Solutions, Garmat, Nova Verta, Saima, Accudraft and Eagle.
Where a standard size no longer exists, we cut media to fit. Send us the dimensions and a photo and we will work out what you need.
Can I order online?
Duster 3000 filters are sold online through our storefront at duster3000filters.com.
Everything else is quoted by phone or through the form on this site. Booth filter sizes vary far more than a shopping cart handles well, and it is usually faster to have someone who knows booths confirm the part before you buy it.
